There is a very simple reason for our pricing structure. This pseudo-anonymous poster does not like our pricing structure. I'd like to address each "red flag" in order. There you will see hundreds of positive reviews from people who actually adopted a puppy from us, not someone guessing about what we might be like. If anyone is curious about us, I'd encourage you to follow our Facebook page. People who have never adopted a pup from us, emailed us, etc. I recently became aware of this thread on Reddit, and thought it was interesting to see some people bashing Crockett Doodles who seem to know very little about who we are. I've found that it is always easier to talk about people than to talk to people. I'd encourage you to read our entire website (including our history) at I'm not sure why the person posting is not using their actual name, but if they want to reach out to me, I'd be happy to have a conversation. Crockett Doodles is a network of family-raised pups. I'd love to sit down to lunch with the person who posted it and talk through face-to-face any concerns you may have. This is the most in your face puppy mill I've ever seen and I'd love to see them shut down one day. The more I read through their page the more bitter I get. Last red flag though I'm sure there are many more: They breed doodles and they refer to them as a breed. I mean seeing the individual dogs and seeing their scores. And I don't mean a statement that says they do health testing. Seventh-however many dogs they breed red flag: All of that random, useless information, and not one piece of information on health testing. I want puppies that are cared for and raised carefully. well, I guess they can because they're a corporation. They cannot successfully keep track of that type of breeding. Sixth red flag: 13 different mixes? 13 different mixes What? That's insane and just a mess. Poodles are also highly intelligent animals, and we have seen that intelligence translate into puppies who are bright and easy to train.įifth Red Flag: This is a business, what personal connection do each of these people have to the potential owners, their puppies, and their dogs in general? And not one person on this team has any expertise in dogs We love that Poodle genes provide beautiful soft wavy or curly coats with very little to no shedding. Literally no study backs this statement up. We've found that our dogs tend to genetically carry the best of both of their parent breeds. Third red flag: Online application and everything seems to happen online Second red flag: You get to choose the puppy Parti? They're both bi-colored, how does one cost less? How does color affect price anyway? Mini is a specific cost? $1000 base price + $200 for mini + $300 for parti-colored + $200 for wavy/curly coat = $1700 $1000 base price + $200 for mini + $200 for mainly white + $200 for wavy/curly = $1600īreaking down your prices like that is a big red flag.
